Things not to do
- Do not reuse tampons.
- Always abide by the following to reduce the possibility of TSS occurring.
- Do not continuously use tampons. Use tampons alternately with pads.
- Do not use a tampon longer than 8 hours at a time.
- Tampons can be used if sleeping up to 8 hours, but do not use if sleeping over 8 hours.
- Do not use if you are experiencing odorous secretions (discharge).

- If the tip of the applicator is flattened or cracked when stored or carried, do not use as it may cause injury.
When to consult with a specialist
- If experiencing fever or the following symptoms, you may have TSS, so immediately stop using tampons and consult a specialist at a facility such as an obstetrics and gynecology department. Take along the instructions included with the product. Tell the doctor that you are menstruating.

Storage methods
Store tampons in a box in a hygienic place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, and water leaks. Also, do not store together with items such as perfumes, medicines, and detergents. Be sure to store together with the instructions included with the product. The applicator may change shape when carrying tampons with you, so carry them in the box. When stored for a long period in direct sunlight, the applicator may deteriorate, become damaged, and cause injury when used. When stored for a long period in high humidity, the absorbent core may absorb the moisture and expand, making it difficult to insert. Use in light of the precautions provided regarding storage methods.
Cautions about usage
1. The product is sterile, but should be used quickly after being opened. Do not use if the wrapper is ripped.
2. Do not use incorrectly.
- Remove from the body without cutting the string.
- Do not use 2 tampons at the same time.
- Do not insert a new tampon without first removing the one being used.
- After your period, be sure to confirm that you have removed the tampon.
3. Up until 8 weeks after giving birth, avoid using tampons during your first period after childbirth.
